~ 24th July 2011 ~

this time we arrived ten minutes late. so the good morning dance is about to end. this week is a full class. best sgt ada ramai babies. all of them are super happy and so cheerful! super best =) so we start with bouncy balls. each babies is given colorful ball dat they can bounce with, kick and play with it. si kecil likes to throw da ball and run after it. then when he's bored with it, he just run off. his mood seems quite ok this week, unlike last week where he's a bit cranky and quite hard to handle.

later, we played with the sticks. teacher watie gave two sticks to each babies and they can bang and hit the sticks together. different sounds are made if the sticks are hits on da floor or up in da air. it wasa fun seeing si kecil banging da sticks together and amaze from da sound they made.

next we had da dancerxise. and the busy box. si kecil found another car inside the box, so he played with it like everywhere; on the floor, on the wall, on the table, and it's so hard to keep the car away after this activity ended. luckily the bubbles distracted him from more crying and screaming.

after that, we had a book session. i loves the book because it contains a lot of activites for zairil. i want to get one for si kecil so dat we could have our own reading/playing book time. next is da para-para rides and goodbye song.

this week is a great playtime @ da playgroup. we both have so much fun, and si kecil is so worn out by the time we reached home.

~ 17th July 2011 ~

we've arrived early for the class this time. it's been a while since da last time we attend the playgroup. so we waited for other babies to arrive. zairil is happily running around the room. i thought he's not gonna be cranky, boy this budak kecil sure can be a handful sometimes =D

it started with the dancerxise, da good morning song and other song as well. later, we played some bowling. babies have to take turns to roll da pins. but dis lil one didnt even wana bowl, he just run and fall and run some more. i think he just roll only once, then he just went off. if i force him, he will cry and melentik and pening pala mcm nih. so i just let him do wat ever he wanna do.

later, we played the busy box. zairil found a colorful car and he's very happy with his choice that he's not interested with any other toys. imagine how hard it is to take that car away, mmg sgt melentik2 tawu!!! but thank to da bubbles dat teacher watie blows dat distracted him from his frustration. later, da para-para rides and parachute time of course.

hmm, for dis week, si kecil is having quite a cranky time @ da playgroup. just like teacher watie expected, he is quite a handful dat day. sgt susah nak handle. but hopefully he'll be okay nxt week =)

~ 22th May 2011 ~

we arrived a lil wee bit late, but we didnt miss da 1st session. da 1st session is like... umm, da london bridge song is being played while babies and mummies go under teacher watie's and firdaus's mummy hands. i dnt kno wat dis is activity is called, but it was fun. only si kecil a bit cranky, a bit late to warm up for da activities.

later, we played da stacking game. teacher watie gave us each six cups dat we can stack up any way we likes. si kecil loves to tumble it down rather than building it up. so it's a bit hard to build it bcoz he will tumble them up in a second. but, it was an exciting activity nevertheless =)

next we have da busy box like usual. and bubbles and para-para rides and da dancerxise definitely. eventho it takes time for si kecil to warm up to da activities, but seeing him happy with all da other babies, makes me even more happy to bring him again and again to da playgroup =)

~ 17th May 2011 ~

it's been a while now playgroup was put on hold. teacher watie is super busy, so the classes have to be postphoned. so during the public holiday on tuesday, the class is held as usual. umm, we arrived a bit late. and si kecil is a wee bit cranky, clingy onto my legs whenever i put him down. took a bit of time for him to warm up.

we missed da 1st session, it's kinda like having-fun-inside-sumthg-thgy. there are two tents, where the babies are encourage to go inside the tent and have some peek-a-boo with mummies from the windows. then there's this kinda like wormy tunnel where babies can crawl inside till reach the end of the tunnel. it was fun, but zairil dont wana participate, cant blame him, so we just watched others having great time.

later, we had the same routine, such as; para-para rides, bubbly bubble, and busy box. also da dancing time. im not gonna elaborate much on that, i think evryone knows how it was, which is super fun!!! i loves all da activities, dats why im looking forward for evry class.

owh and @ da same day, we received a happy news indeed. wanie had delivered her 1st baby boy!!! sgt comel, sungguh comelnya!!! congrats wanie. im so happy for her =) we came by and visited her and wildan @ hukm. 1st time we ever been there. and 1st time zairil met a newborn. so sweet, again congrats wanie & tokan =)

~ 1st May 2011 ~

this will be the 1st time ever we arrived early!!! well, there's a reason behind it ofcoz. we've planned to go to da airport and met net before her flight, but it really is like the perfect saying... kita merancang, Allah yang tentukan.

anyway, we waited for a few minutes coz there's only three babies in da house. later the class started with dancerxise. had a few lapse of good dancerxise, with da good morning song. but dis is only for da warm up session, and there's more to come =D

after that, we played with kompang?! i dont kno wat is it exactly, but its a bit like a kompang, so kompang it is. zairil loves to ketuk2 kompang nih, so ketuk2 is wat he did. nxt teacher watie brought out a stick?! and babies ketuk2 da kompang with da stick this time. this activity is to promote babies grasping, and encourage them to tappy tappy tap da kompang ofcoz.

next, teacher watie handout each babies with a box-with-a-jiggle-thgy. being babies, they with shake and shake da box-with-a-jiggle-thgy and later they will try to open and see what inside it. they will be rewarded with a shaker!!! how cleverla teacher watie to come out with brilliant ideas to educate lil babies =)

later is da dancerxise time!!! i love it, i think i love it more than si kecil. bcoz he loves to run around rather than join in da dancerxise. a lot of songs indeed to dance off with. love it love it love it =)

and of course we had da bubbles and para-para time. i think this is what zairil enjoyed da most. he tried really hard to catch the bubbles and giggle happily under the parachute. loves to see him happy, made all my troubles to fade away =)

~ 17th April 2011 ~

we arrived a bit late. so da class has started a bit, and the 1st session is warming up. warming up consist of all the dance bit you can think of! again, dis routine really burns a lot of calories. later we played with da hoola hoop, using da hoolala like a steering wheel and go round and round da class as if we're driving. owh, si kecil dah nak belajar bawak kereta ker?! i dnt know how i will react when he's starting to learn to drive nanti. mesti rasa mcm, owh dah besar dah anak ibu nih. mcm baru jer ibu lahirkan zairil. gosh, i'll sure be all teary and moppy when dat day finally arrives =/

next, is da write a letter to daddy. all babies are given an envelope filled with a piece of paper and a marker for them to write a letter to daddy. dis exercise is to develop fine motor skill which is grasping da pen and jotting somethg on da paper. so zairil did wrote sumthg to ayah, and his hands are both covered with da marker's ink. he loves 'writing' his hart out to bababah, comel jer conteng2 zairil nih.

after writing da letter, all babies post da letter in da letter box. zairil did a great job in putting in da letter with da help of teacher watie of course.

later is, da boxy with da jingy where all da toys make all sort of noises. we played with some, but zairil is more interested to put back in all da toys in da box instead of playing with it. but he loves da balls, so he played with da balls instead.

later is da parachute and bubbles time. we had fun dis week. well, every week is a fun week for us. i love bringing zairil to da playgroup because i can see dat he enjoyed it very much, and he had great time playing with other babies. what more can i wish for, seeing him happy, all smiley and giggly.

if you noticed, zairil & aleesya are da only one dat had started wearing gbob shirt. and guess wat? they are not alone, since me and hp too are wearing da same shirt dat day!!! we both support gbob so much since gbob provided da chance for zairil to mingle around with other babies @ his age. so yes, we are really thankful bcoz dis is the time where i can see zairil socializing with others and he's now one friendly baby in da house!!!

~ 10th April 2011 ~

i am really looking forward for this week class simply because this is the 1st class zairil is going to participate in Level 3!!! he's now 1 Year++, dat means he is now in lil walker group. so dis time, we arrived quite on time, and da 1st session i think is singing and dancing time. i'm telling you, it's like doing a cardio workout for 1 hour lah!!! i sweated like i never sweat in my life =p but it is fun bcoz si kecil really enjoyed it, so dat's a plus!

later, all da babies had their turns in putting ball inside da basketball hoola hoop (i don't kno wat it is called, jadi saya suka hatilah hentam sahaja =p) da line is obviously long, bcoz it is full house dat day, and si kecil ni don't mind waiting for his turn, as long as he's free to walk around da class. so i let him roam around, except when he started to play with the door or with da stand fan. suka tau buat ibu sakit jantung, nak main benda yg bahaya jer. so he did toss da ball inside da hoola hoop, yay for zairil!!!

after dat, we had beany-bag time. teacher watie hand-out beany bags to babies and mummies will put da bag on top of babies's head. this activity to coordinate their balance while walking. zairil didn't like da idea of putting da bag on top of his head, so memanjang je tangan tu tarik da beany bag and run away with it.

next is the play with wats-in-da-box-thingy. teacher watie take out a large box filled wtih all the toys dat make seriously loud noise. so da babies shake, bang, jiggle till da whole room filled with tremendous noise!

afterward, we had the bubbles and para-para up&down. this is the usual activity, so am not gonna elaborate on dat.

for dis class, i must say i had a blast! i guess da class is full house, so there are many babies to see, thus i loved it. and the activities are super fun, i loves dancing around with si kecil @ home. so yup, love it cuma malu2 sket nk joget2 dpn other mummies. i must look like a clown =/, but dis is zairil's fun time, so watever mummy feel doesn't count. as long as he's happy, mummy is more than happy for you si kecil =)

~ 26 March 2011 ~

for dis class, we arrived late; 15 minutes late. da class is already started halfway. so we just joined the group. thank god si kecil is not cranky, and participate and berjalan-jalan around da class happily. we did some flash cards today, i showed zairil the cards but he's not really into it. so i just read and change da cards over and over anyway.

later we had parachute session and ofcoz the bubble time. seronokla tgk zairil excited nak kejar bubbles tu. and when da big bubble is blown, it's like da most exciting thg a baby can poke!!! then we have book reading time, where babies have their chances to touch furs on this fury book.

for signing, dis week is more. it's like you make your both hands kinda like a bird's-head-shape, then joined the hands together. get it? i don't know how to explain it in details. because i don't know the exact words. owh, last week the sign is eat. i think most of us know how's the eat gesture by now right. so i guess i don't have to explain it in details.

so, for nxt week there will be no class. however, Level 3 is starting on April, and i am so excited. i don't know what is in stored for us, but i'm sure it's gonna be lotsof fun and that is for sure!!!

for dis post, it'll be about da 6th time we attend playgroup @ genius baby on board... ~ 12 March 2011 ~

we arrived late, nothing unusual about that. 2nd activity is about to start, so we joined in. for dis activity, we created some kind of an obstacle for the babies to crawl. then we piled up da pillow so that da baby can roll over, and mummy will say roll over.

next is playing with the maracas. babies loves da maracas, they keep on shaking it, and even putting it in their mouths.

later, da parachute and bubble time. we had dis every week, so there's no need for me to elaborate more on dis rite?

afterward, is reading time. teacher watie read a book with some kind of fur on it, so babies will touch da fur, and she will make a sound of the animal that goes along with da fur.

for discussion time, what is your baby's habit? for zairil, i said that he loves to tear da tissues, shredded it into pieces. xleh nampak tisula kiranya, mesti nak koyakkan. teacher watie said dat its good for fine motor skill, thus it will enhance his motor skill plus its a cheap way to train his skill.

owh, i thought its kinda naughty thg to do, shred da tissue and make a mess out of it. rupanya its good for da baby to practice. thank goodnessla x penah nak marah si kecil nih evrytime he did dat, cuma kena sabar sketla, then kena vacumnkan all da small small tissue td tu.

dis week, again i have to chase him all over. x kesahla, janji he didnt cry and enjoy his time there. i cant remember wats da signing for dis week, its because at this time, si kecil nih dah merangkak ke mana dah, kena kejar budak nih. i'll ask teacher nxt week la.

this time around, we arrived pretty early. for the 1st activity is shakey shake shakey. mummy will shake da maracas/tamborine so the baby will crawl/walk to you. zairil is in a warm up mood, so he just sit there, ignoring da maracas. after a while, he went for a crawl himself, leaving me chasing him around da room.

for discussion time, what is mummy favourite time with baby. for me, i like bath time because he likes bubble, and he loves water. but the x best part is getting him out of the water. sgt susah yea, dgn si kecil nih melentik2 lg, its like arghhh takutnya slippery water n bubbles will cause trouble la si kecil!!!

owh teacher watie elaborate more on this, she said that while bathing your baby, splash the water and say splash. this is to introduce the word splash and the splash action.

next is the para-para time; which is singing and moving the parachute up and down with da babies underneath da parachute.

later, we had itsy-bitsy spider song. zairil likes it, moving his body, dancing to the song. i always sing this song to him, plus in your baby can read cd, this song is being played as well. so he likes to move his body to this song.

afterward is bubble time and for this week signing is close. it is the same as open, but you just do it opposite of open.

for this week, si kecil is all over da room. i have to chase him evrywhere!!! sekejap dekat sana, sekejap pegi sini. its like, tolongla si kecil duduk diam2 boleh x? and there are so many babies this week. i think its a full house. seronok betul tgk byk babies, semua comel2 je. sungguh comel =D

i think this time around, we arrived quite on time. so for the 1st activity will be warming-up with da babies =D for dis activity, mummy will hold baby's feet and bring them together while touching toes and heels. mummy will repeatedly says toes and heels whenever those two are touched. this is for baby to be familiar with toes and heels.

then mummy will move baby's arms going on small to big circle while mummy says small small circle then big, bigger circle. dis is just to differentiate between small and big of course. after dat, it will be: up and down and all da way around. there's a song dat mummy listened to, which is up up up: mummy will bring baby up, down down down: mummy will bring baby down to the floor and all the way around: mummy will make a circle while baby makes da sweetest smile ever!!! owh, zairil loves dis activity, especially da part all da way around - he giggles and smiles and sgt geramnye!!! tp ibu yg penat, sgt berexercise sungguh!!!

after da warm up, we played peekaboo and tug of war. for peekaboo, mummy will cover their faces will this see through piece of cloth, and baby will pull this cloth and mummy will say peekaboo. then when baby took the cloth, mummy will pull gently, sort of tugging it. so it's tug of war alike. for this activity, the main purpose is to build baby's upper strength when baby tries to pull the cloth. zairil prefer to tug da cloth with his teacher than with his ibu. aper daa, karang ibu main dgn baby lain baru tawu =p

next is the picture puzzle. for this activity, there are two cards; with three differences on it. so mummy will tell baby what are the differences and basically what is on that card. hmm, this one, zairil is more keen to grab and waves the card rather than looking at it. x kesahla, janji dia x menangis =>

later, bubbles and parachute time. since he loves bubbles so much, he poke and grab da bubble before his teacher blows it. adoyai, sabar la sayang ibu nih!!! for the parachute, he just sit still under da parachute and listened to da song.

for mummy discussion; what is baby's first word. and for signing - open. place two hands while gesturing open, place two hands and open them.

dis week, there are new babies in da class. i can say new babies because we attend all the class without fail for the past four weeks now. so for some weeks, we met new faces, and of course the regular faces. so i guess we are the regular faces la from now on =D

after attending the class four times in a row, zairil is no longer a shy-shy cat one =p he crawls, he walks like no one's business and left ibu sorg2 dkt blakang ='( i have to chase him around for every activity. now he likes to go and touch his friend's faces. sungguh baby friendly. i hope other mummy is not offended. but if you are, i'm so teribly sorry. i try my best to control si kecil from going after your baby nxt time yea. but, i dont mind if zairil's friend wana be super friendly with him. seronokla tgk diorg main sama2. till here then, take care every one =)
