After the thunder and storm

It is definitely not easy to stay calm and collected while the dua beradik cried their lungs out. I'm holding and keeping it all together so that I wont outburst my frustration towards them. Sigh, this is one of the package that come with parenthood. Patience, be with me all the time, never ever leave me ever...

~ Walking ~

While walking around the lake the other day, Zairil keep on "speaking" non-stop. He talks about crossing the bridge, telling us to be careful to not fall down in the lake, about the blue sky, he really chatted non-stop.

Till when we're about to reach the end of our walk, he still keep on "speaking" and there's this black couple looked at him and the guy said "what are you saying?" with a smile on his face. Zairil looked at him for a while, then continue "speaking" his mind.

Yup, this boy of mine is officially speaking my friend =) *i always worried about zairil isn't speaking yet, thus when he's finally speaking a lot now, he just blew my mind away. love my boy till bits*

The Registration

We went to our old university again last monday. At first, si kecil and I waited in the car but after a while, si kecil grew restless. He ignored the tab, the books so when hp came back to the car, I decided to take a walk with Zairil in the admin building.

There were a lot of people inside and every thing remain the same. Just like when I left the building 4-5 years ago? The same smell, the same atmosphere, some familiar faces around. So we both had a walk and stopped at the water fountain near the entrance. Si kecil was fascinated by the water and so does the other baby! How cute he is with his father, watched the water flows together.

Later, si kecil pulled my hand to other direction. We went out along the BL building and made a stop to see the fishes. The weather was scorching hot, but Zairil didn't mind. We watched the fish swam and si kecil kept throwing sticks into the water pool?

It was interesting to see different types of races and hearing their foreign conversation that made me question myself is this really Uniten? I felt as if I was the foreigner. Anyway, si kecil continue his journey so I followed him to whever he wanted to go. We even went up the elevator but sadly the carpet just remain blue. During my study, I remembered the carpet will be change according to what day it is, but not any more I guess.

After the long walk, I decided to go back to our car and suddenly from behind I heard hp's voice! He had settled with the registration and every thing went smoothly. (Lucky thing I always carry hp's passport picture in my purse. If not, we probably have to go back to get it.)

Later, we went to billion for our lunch. Yes, I always look forward to eat at billion because of the kerepek. It's just sambal tempe with kerepek kentang but I felt like it's the best food in the world! For now that is =D

All that I really wanted to say in this post is how much I enjoyed myself spending outing time with Zairil. He was in his best behaviour till I felt I don't even want to go home. I would rather walk and talk and smile to him and see him with his happy grin really melted my heart. How much I loves this boy, so very much indeed...

The Blood

Every thing seems to be fine in the morning of 28th Jan. Zairil woke up early for his milk, and I made one for him then switch on the tv for The Blue's Clues. Later after Zairil finished his milk, I went out of the room to get something to eat. Then I prepared stuffs for Zairil's shower like his cloth, diaper and the cream & oil.

After settled, I felt something and the next thing I knew I bleed! I was so shocked and even about to faint. Told hp about it, and he calmed me down. He asked me to take a shower, and monitor the bleeding. It's fresh blood, and quite a lot but not that a lot. In my head, I kept repeating this is not happening, there's no way lilo will be deliver today since it's too earlier for him to come out and play. I took a long shower, praying for the bleeding to stop and it did stop.

Hp kept checking on me, and I said every thing is fine. I think I worked too hard on the preparation. This also had happened several times before I got married when I lifted something heavy or worked physically hard. We waited till evening and there's no blood what so ever. Thus I decided to not go to the hospital because I don't want to be check by VE, not now not yet.

Till today, lilo is moving well inside, no more bleeding and I really took my time in doing things nowadays. And I avoided lifting heavy stuffs. What a drama indeed!

The Preparation

For our preparation to welcome our little lil one, there's of course a list to be done. It's been bugging me for quite sometimes now because everything is clouding my mind. Whyla I didn't think to write everything down so that I could see the big picture of what have been messing up my mind these days.

Well, what trouble me the most is the messiness of this house! I think we are hoarders already! Even though we didn't have much stuffs, but all the things are cluttered every where so resulting me to be serabut at all times!!! The first thing first I just took a deep breath one day and took it slow cleaning up the middle room or our closet I shall call it. The process was really slow since si kecil also decided to participate and helping out. When I got really tired, I kinda took it on si kecil which is bad bad me I know. I raise my voice over and took him out from the room because he's making more mess than ever! Poor si kecil, sorry hunny!

So like I've mentioned in The Clean Up, I think I will cross cleaning up from the list. Next is preparing the hospital bags for both mummy and baby and Zairil as well. hp bag's I don't think I have to pack him one because he can always go home and grab what ever stuffs that he needed right? So again, this will be my first time packing the bags and I'm totally clueless about it. I've referred and relied on the Internet to pack up the bags and one of them is from Knits's preparation. Thanks knits for blogging about the hospital bags; both for mummy and baby.

Right now, the bags are loaded in the car already and I will cross out the hospital bags as well from the list. Next preparation I must say is about breastfeeding. This time around, I read a lot about BF and prepared the essential things to breastfeed such as the breast pump, the nursing pillow, the milk booster, the breastfeeding book, the nursing bras and cover. I know that it is up to me to successfully breastfeed our baby, and I have to equipped myself with knowledge instead of these gadget. So I am praying my hardest I wont fail again this time.

What else in the thing to do list? hmm, it will be the stuffs to get such as the jamu, the bath tub holder and the baby swing also the changing table. One more thing to do is, to clean up the back room which I want to do it a.s.a.p but hp prevent me from doing so. The back room really need an overhaul because a lot of stuff is stuffed in there. And we needed to move out two wardrobes from our room to the back room so that we could put the baby crib inside our room.

The three last item is a luxury I must say, but it will nice if we had it with us. The bath tub holder is needed because I would prefer not to bend down much thus the changing table as well. And the baby swing is needed so that we didn't have to rock Lilo to sleep. We'll see if we have enough extra budget for all these things.

I think this pretty much cover the preparation that we have done so far. Hopefully the rest of our pregnancy and delivery will be a smooth sail with not much complication. Please pray for us...

The Clean Up

I have been doing sorting and and cleaning and throwing away baby's stuffs during the weekend. I think it's a good time to start doing so because we are eight months along already. Better get ready now or never! With Zairil, we didn't have the chance to do pre-laundry or shopping as a matter of a fact. Most of the items were bought by both of our parents and we couldn't thank them enough.

We managed to buy some new baby clothes, but I think I want to add up a few more to that. It took me two days to wash everything up because the limited space of the laundry area plus the unpredictable weather nowadays. After the washing, I even took the liberty to iron everything so that everything look crisp and cuter! That would be really rare for me as I would never iron 'baju basahan' before! Plus I've washed the bengkung and baruts and kain batiks.

I've also sterilise the pump part. Right now, I think I will cross the cleaning part of the list. Even the middle room have been cleaned and sorted out. My clouded mind some how have been lifted up and it gave me a bit of confident to welcome our new baby. Before this, I felt unprepared and at total lost! It's like everything is all over the place and I am so serabut!!!

There's a few more things to do to be crossed for the list. Hopefully everything will be done before our lilo arrives =)

• loves to color2, conteng2 tp dkt buku jerla. mmg akn alert @ all time when he's holding the colors so that he wont make his artwork else where.
• loves to kacau his ayah, pull his father's hand and asked for a clue a clue awwwhhh
• loves blue's clues to the max!!! bangun2 jer a clue a clue awwwhhh. i feel like throwing the tv away evrytime he asked for the show. dkt nick jr. boleh rewind2, so rewind jerla sepuluh kali tengok. arghhh, kenapala minat sgt tgk abg steve tu? x pahamla. klu xde dkt nick jr. kitorg akn bukak through youtube. tp byk sgtla pulak parodynya. i guess mesti ramai x suka tgk blue's clue. bilela fasa BC nak habis ni?
• evrytime dah siap lps mandi, mesti lari2 cari ayah dia for some kisses and compliments. comel sgt. tp a bit sad bila ayah dia keluar, and he seek for his father to no where to be found. tp lps ayah balik, mesti akan kisses n hugs sambil panggil ayah dgn sweetnya.
• bila la nak panggil ibu ni sayang? ibu tunggu jer ni. no, i'm not sad or jealous for his manjaness toward his father. i'm more than welcome. cuma it will be nice if he could call me ibu or mummy or mama once in a blue moon. it's ok, ibu will wait for your words kay.
• and evrytime i sang da i can cook song - show from cbeebies, he will end da song with i can cook. comel je zairil sebut i can cook. and tgk dia nari2 lagi, that's why i loves to repeat the song over and over again.

nxt month is your birthday hunny? lets see what ayah gonna give for your birthday this year =D ibu sayang sangat zairil, nanti dah ready, sebut ibu hari-hari tawu. i just miss for you to call me ibu, that's all my love =')

@ 1 Year & 10 Months

• knows most of his body part such as bila tanya - mana mata? tunjuk mata. nose, mouth, teeth, ears, hair, fingers, toes, dgn pusat. all in english except for mata dgn pusat. he learned it from your baby can read cd. mata from his atok and pusat definitely from me =D
• i like to make him sayang muah before doing something that he wanted. contoh kalau zairil minta susu, suruh sayang muah dulu baru i made a move to the kitchen. seronok bila dia sayang muah sbb he will say muahhh comel je dgr =)
• dah pandai ckp susu bila nk susu. thank god for this, yela sometimes bila dia nangis2 xtawu nk apa. rupanya nak susu. sekarang dah pandai ckp susu, its like da greatest thg ever!!!
• still loves to dance-off. i should put a  video of him dancing. comel tgk dgn tangan2 gerak. lembut jer, switfly dance to da wat ever music =)
• bila nak buat something wrong, i immidiately ckp heppp, heppp, then he will stand and cries his heart out. i let him cries for a while before hugging him. then terus senyum. manjanya ini budak =D
• so yes, he will respond to heppp, a sign for him not to mess around too much.
• loves water, which kid doesn't right? susah betul nk keluar dari bilik air. and yes, he loves puddle too, saje je pegi lari2 dgn lopak air dkt taman. abis basah baju sume.

you are soon to be a big brother now sweety pie. dah rasa besarnya anak ibu nih. be a good abglong to adik k. ibu sayangkan abglong nonetheless k sayang, muahhh =)

The Detail Scan

So we went for the detail scan on 22/11/2011 at 2 pm. We arrived sharp, however there has been a waiting line already and I am the 14th patient of the day. Little that I know that we are the last patient for the scan. We waited at the waiting area for quite a while. However Zairil is getting restless each minute that passed by.

We brought a lot of things to keep him occupied; his cars, his books, sesame street podcast. They did entertain him for a while, then he set off again running around and making noises. Being a dad, hp couldn't stand him, so they went downstairs for a walk. Later, I went for a walk with Zairil. It took us two hours waiting for our turn, so imagine how restless this little boy is. I kept on checking with the counter to see how long we have to wait and it seems too long to get to our number.

After a solid two hours of waiting, my name was called and at that time si kecil is struggling to get out of the room. The doctor did her work quickly, and this is when we knew we are going to have another baby boy with us. So the guessing game is finally over and I've been calling lilo's name ever since!

I was really looking forward for the 3D scan as we never had one before, of course it didn't happen. It's just a regular 2D scan but in details. So everything looks fine, alhamdulillah. Again, the doctor didn't gave us any of the scan pictures! I felt so sad and frustrated because I didn't have any of Lilo's scan pichas! With Zairil I had 4 pichas, this time around none what so ever. Gosh, I felt bad for this little lil one in my tummy, but hp said it's ok. As long as everything is fine, we will see our Lilo for real when he's finally with us.

So that's all about the scan. The checkups with Dr. Fazlina will be as usual. Only if we didn't have to wait for too long for our checkups that would be really nice...

• suka menari2 comel2 dgn gaya yg comelnya. geram tgk ayun2 tgn. x kesahla lagu pape pun, asal dgr lagu je goyang2 nari2. sungguh comel =)
• masih sukakan buku. suka sgt amik buku dari rak buku, lps tu selak2 gigit2 lps tu lari tgk cbeebies
• paling x suka cerita lunar jim dkt cbeebies. dgr lagu pun dah nangis
• dah ada dua gigi geraham belah kanan tumbuh. hence da drooling
• susah betul nk gosok gigi sekarang.
• susah betul nk potong kuku sekarang.
• super friendly dgn budak2. suka peluk2 dgn buat geram2 ketap2 gigi.
• suka sepah2 mainan lps tu masukkan balik dlm kotak. dats how he played his toys. sepahkan, masukkan balik dlm kotak.

i guess this is some of his behaviour this month. still baby talk. susah nak faham. xnk ckp, tp more toward pointing to what he wants. i don't want to worry his speech delay, nanti bila dah pandai bercakap for surely i'll miss his baby talk.

Yesterday was a lovely evening after continuous pouring rain for days. So we decided to go to the park again. I like going to the park on weekdays because there aren't many people around compared to weekend. Before we left, i had a tiny voice inside saying 'hmm, i should bring zairil's drink', but my head went 'it's ok,we're going for a bit, zairil can have a drink after we arrived home'. Off we went without bringing the drink that is.

There weren't many people around, zairil played happily; running, climbing, sliding, run and climb some more. Boy, he played with all his heart. He did slipped once on the stairs, but it didn't stop him from playing again and again.

After one hour, it's time to go home. But we stop for roti eskem and then continued to the car. Forgetful hp forgot to shut the front door. Luckily everything was in place. We offered some of the roti eskem to zairil but he refused and cried for a little bit. So i thought he was sleepy from playing too much.

On the way home, we suddenly decided to make a stop at carrefour for some grocery shopping. Zairil showed sign of discomfort, but again i dismiss, still thinking he's tired.

At the carrefour, this little guy cries some more. The tears streaming down his face, made me sad and frustrated not knowing what he wants and what should i do to comfort him. Later, i found out how thirsty he was when he wanted to gobble the fruit can, thinking that it's a drink can.

All we can think off to shop hurriedly and i did took the vitagen for zairil to drink. After we paid, zairil drank four bottles of vitagen in one go. Imagine how thirsty he was at that time. I am so sorry sayang for discarding your thirst. Poor zairil, all he wanted was some drinks, yet i thought he was being cranky for no reason.

So from now on, every time we want to go to the park, please make sure you bring along zairil's drink ok?

Buku Si Kecil

During the last playgroup, hp bought this cloth book for zairil. i fell in love with this book since the first time we used it in the class. It really is a good book with benefits for lil one. Teacher watie had explained the details about this book. So i think i will say only a lil bit about it.

Overall i would say it is worth buying. All the activities inside stimulate his senses and i will sit with him while reading the book. Some of the activity he didn't master yet, but hopefully in time he can do it =)

• dah pandai minum straw! lambatkn zairil terer minum straw. dari bulan lps lg dah boleh minum pki straw, sekarang dah expert, xdela tersedak2.
• suka cbeebies, smpi boleh tergelak2 tgk. x paham apa yg kelaka sgt, tp kelaka sgt tgk zairil ketawa.
• suka main jengga, tp suka taburkan sahaja. lps tu baling2, gigit2.
• suka cokolat. suka air ribena.
• suka main dkt playground. suka tgk dia main slides.
• one thg about him, if he didn't get what he wants, he will show his frustration right there. but when he gets it, only for a lil while, he will walk away with a smile on his face.
• semua benda nak buat sendiri, especially time makan. bukan semua pun masuk dlm mulut, byk tertumpah. satu hal nk kemaskan balik.
• suka datang lps lari2 lps tu hug kaki hp or mine. rasa sgt priceless. comelnya.
• suka sgt sblm buat sesuatu utk zairil, suruh dia sayang muah, zairil akan sayang muah dgn bunyi muahhh. comel jer...

dah besarkan si kecil comel ni. you are soon to be abglong sayang. still ibu sayang zairil ok hunny =)
